Pavement to Headline Primavera Fest

This summer, the Pitchfork staffers who traveled to Barcelona for the Primavera Sound Festival came back calling it one of the best festivals they'd ever seen. Those who attended the 2009 shindig got Neil Young, My Bloody Valentine, a Pitchfork-curated stage, and the now-infamous Wavves freakout, all in one of the world's nicest cities. And there's a pretty good chance that the 2010 fest, which goes down May 27-29, might turn out even better.
For one thing, there's the headliner. The festival's website has announced that reunited indie gods Pavement will top the bill. Thus far, it's the only mainland Europe date that the band has announced.
