Devendra Banhart Reveals More LP Details, Is Crazy

Only slightly crazier than the concept of T.I. vs. T.I.P., though
Love or loathe his freaky, creaky jams, you've gotta hand it to Devendra Banhart on the image front. Despite looking, acting, and occasionally smelling like a street person, Devendra's unhinged manner never seems to indicate enough bats to pack a belfry.
But if his take on his new XL Recordings-issued LP-- recently posted on his MySpace-- is any indication, the scale may be tilting ever-nutward. No use paraphrasing; we'll just let him tell you. It may not bear mentioning, but [sic] throughout:

That's nice, dear. A slightly more measured run-down of some of the album's details-- including a few corollary last names to go with all those firsts-- is available here, on the off chance you don't speak loony. Is it just me, or don't all those titles read sorta like I Can Has Cheezburger captions?
Oh, we kid. Devendra's great! Just a bit, you know, eccentric. Too eccentric for the nearly-requisite musical exercise that is a summer tour. Devendra's got a few dates in the works, but-- while anticipation runs high for "Cyber Christ and the Gnostic Titi-Slap part deux"-- they don't kick off 'til August.
