Animal Collective Ready New Single

As Avey Tare, Panda Bear (ooh they rhyme!), Geologist, and Deaken rev up for next month's parade across North America (with a wee tour of Japan nestled in between), Fat Cat Records has put together a snazzy new CD/DVD single to sate your appetite for all things Animal Collective.
The single for "Grass", which the import-savvy among you may have already nabbed in its UK edition, arrives March 21 on U.S. shores. Not one to flog dead horses, Fat Cat has padded this puppy out with no fewer than four Animal Collective music videos. Check it:

Ye olde-fashioned music:

01 Grass
02 Must Be Treeman
03 Fickle Cycle

Thee new flashy multimedia extravagance:

01 Grass (video directed by Superhate)
02 Who Could Win a Rabbit? (video directed by Danny Perez)
03 Fickle Cycle (recording session footage, directed by Scott Colburn)
04 Lake Damage (video/sound collage directed by Brian DeGraw of Gang Gang Dance)

Now for that tour. It kicks off February 21 in Boston, then hops, skips, and jumps around the U.S. and Canada before jetting to Japan for three dates. Then it's back to the ol' U.S. of A for a home stretch, culminating in a hometown gig at the Bowery Ballroom.
